We are pleased when we receive offers of help in school. There are lots of different activities that parents can get involved in. Most of our volunteers are involved in hearing readers throughout the school, or general classroom help and there are opportunities to help us with any of our curriculum areas such as Art or Design Technology – subjects that are very practical in terms of organisation. We are also grateful of offers of help for trips and visits.
We take the safeguarding of our children very seriously and all adults who have contact with children need to have been subject to our Safeguarding procedures.
The booklet below outlines in more detail the expectations for helpers and the processes which will need to be completed before you can become a helper.
Please read the booklet carefully and speak to the school office if you have any queries.
Once again, thank you for considering helping at St Mark's.
