When do we find out who our child's teacher will be for September?
The children will find out, and meet, their new teacher towards the end of the summer term. New class arrangements will be notified to parents in the newsletter.
Do we meet our child's new teacher or find out about our child's next year of learning?
Early in the autumn term there will be an introductory meeting for parents to meet the new year group staff and find out about the upcoming year.
Is there a parents' consultation for the summer term?
The end of year communication is the report which will be sent home in July. There is not a formal parents’ evening in the summer term.
If our child's class is being mixed for the new academic year are we able to make suggestions for effective friendships?
In Years 1-5, if your child’s class is being mixed, parents receive a letter and are able to make suggestions for effective friendships. In Reception, class teachers discuss friendships with their classes and then make careful decisions over mixing.
Reception, Y5, Y2 and Y1 parents have already been notified about their class being mixed for September 2016.
