Well done and thank you to all of those of you who have been scooting and cycling to school over the last two weeks.
It was great to celebrate the Big Pedal today by having a 'Bike-It Breakfast'. Thank you so much for your support - we fed around 100pupils!
Thank you to Mrs Colston for organising the event and to all the staff who came in early to support the event.
Keep pedalling!

We are delighted that Mr Hall has not only been nominated, but shortlisted as one of three finalists in the Nursery/Primary Teacher of the year category of the Daily Echo School Awards nominees 2017.
The Echo published the following:
Alistair is a Year 2 teacher at St Mark’s Church of England primary school in Bournemouth. He was nominated by Lydia Harris. “My daughter asked me to nominate Mr Hall. Her enthusiasm to do this is testament to the passion, care and inspiration that she sees from him every day. She was not very confident when she started but Mr Hall turned that around immediately.
“He has a great relationship with all the children. He makes sure they are supported in any way they require. He keeps parents up to date with progress too, and spends a lot of time doing so. This helps me support my daughter.”
You can read more on the Echo website.
Update 20 March:
It wasn't to be for Mr Hall, being pipped to the award by a teacher from another Trust school. However, he is still a winner in our eyes and we are very proud that he was nominated and shortlisted! Well done Mr Hall - Keep up the brilliant work.

Governors have now confirmed the school's term dates for next academic year.
Please see published Term Dates under 'Key Information'.
Thursday 2nd March was World Book Day and children (and staff!) came to school in costume, dressed as their favourite characters from books.
We were really impressed with all the costumes and props, hair and make-up today and would like to thank everyone at home for putting in so much effort to make the children look so amazing!
We enjoyed sharing books and a variety of World Book Day activities.
Great work everyone.
